The RoyalMnandi Learning Academy is a fully accredited Education, Training and Development Provider with the Tourism and Hospitality Sector Education and Training Authority (THETA SETA). 

The Learning Academy is strategically orientated towards integrating the development of people and individuals with their performance as teams and ultimately as an entire organisation, by integrating strategic and results driven and lifelong learning. 

The RoyalMnandi Learning Academy is comprehensive learning infrastructure providing Outcomes Based Accredited learning skills programmes and Learnerships to employees, customers and suppliers.

The RoyalMnandi Learning Academy is the strategic umbrella for all Training and Development in RoyalMnandi developing and educating employees, customers, and suppliers of the business.

RoyalMnandi is committed to the training and development of its employees, and supports the principles of the SDA (Skills Development Act). It is the policy of RoyalMnandi to give preference to the targeted groups as contained in the EEA (Employment Equity Act).

To ensure continuous improvement, the company is committed to achieving the following:

  • Providing line managers with the necessary skills to address on-the-job training needs.
  • The utilisation of the NQF (National Qualifications Framework) to ensure a skilled workforce, motivated to achieving both business and personal goals.
  • The utilisation of recognised and accredited provides for external training and development needs, should it be required.
  • RoyalMnandi prides itself in the approach we take to training. We focus on whole-person learning, presenting training in a way that is practical, engaging and interactive.
  • We furthermore recognise the importance of learning programmes for previously disadvantaged employees.

RoyalMnandi is currently offering a Learnership programme to assist learners with disabilities in order to obtain a recognised qualification to secure their chances of obtaining permanent employment.

We have also embarked on a service excellence drive to ensure that our company works with our people to strive for excellence. Ideas and experiences are combined to offer a practical and exciting "process of improvement" for all employees.

This is a holistic approach to service, where all our employees are involved and are incentivised to continuously improve the level of service that they are offering. The interactions are fun and participative and the ideas generated from these sessions are implemented as part of the company's service strategy "Made from the Heart".
