Dudu Mahlalela (36)

Operations Executive – Public Sector
Dudu acquired her National Diploma in Human Resources Management from the Tshwane University of Technology and further enrolled for a B.Tech Degree. She has also done short courses in Marketing and Sales. Dudu worked in the tourism industry and later joined Comparex Afrika (now BCX) as a senior consultant and a few years later started her own events catering and management business. Dudu is also a director of a number of companies and sits on the boards of various organisations, including Sechaba Valuations, Spectrum Valuations as well as the Keni Family Foundation.

Gail joined the Catering Division as Operations Executive with the Healthcare portfolio in February 2011.  Gail was previously General Manager for the Mediguard Healthcare Division from 2006 and was promoted to Operations Executive for RoyalMnandi Cleaning & Catering in August 2010.

Geoff joined RoyalMnandi as the Operations Executive - Commercial in 2010. Previously he professionally consulted for 8 years on behalf of Emerging Entrepreneurs, specific to the Hospitality industry. His prior experience included 17 years in the Hospitality retail sector in S.A. & Europe, and 10 years Senior Management experience in S.A., U.S.A. & the Far East in an executive operational role in the Technology sector.

Glenn McGinn (47)

Glenn started his career as a catering manager and quickly rose through
the operational  ranks gaining extensive experience in operations, sales and
brand management culminating in Glenn holding senior positions in each of the business disciplines.

Glenn joined RoyalMnandi in June 2011 and is responsible for new business development

Marius Mostert (47)

National Diploma in Public Health 1985 (Cape Peninsula University of Technology), Registered Environmental Health Practitioner (HPCSA), Registered Assessor & Moderator ETDP-SETA

Marius joined Royal Food Services in 1997 as Senior Catering Manager, and later that year was appointed Director of Project Support Services division (PSS). In 1998 the PSS division expanded into Africa under his leadership. Projects followed in Mozambique and Zambia. From 1987 to 1997 he was partner in Industrial Catering Company in the Southern Cape. He left Royal in mid 2004 to join TMA and was appointed COO for SA and CEO Mozambique. During 2010 he returned to Royal to manage the operations in Mozambique.

Michael Gregory (59)

Mike joined the Holiday Inn Group after graduating from Hotel School, and worked through the ranks from Front Office, Banqueting and Food and Beverage to Innkeeper in nine years. He had his own Hotel business in Bloemfontein for the following ten years and thereafter joined Sun International at the Wild Coast Sun for a further ten years. Mike joined Fedics in its fledgling Leisure Division in 2000 and moved to RoyalMnandi in 2007.

Paulina Mahalngu (36)

Pauline joined RoyalMnandi in February 2011 to be part of the change management and focus the business on its commitment to people.   She was previously employed by Mvelaserve, the holding’s company, and Protea Coin Group, a subsidiary of the same.  Pauline has held various portfolio’s since 2003 within the Group. Pauline joined the private sector in 1999 as an Events Co-ordinator; this was preceded by a successful military career.

Philip Welchman (62)

Philip joined RoyalMnandi as a Consultant in April 2010, and in January 2011 he was appointed as Marketing Executive. Previously he worked for the Tsebo Outsourcing Group for 32 years in various positions ranging from operations to marketing. He has also consulted to Mugg & Bean and worked for the following Hotel Groups: Durban Hotels (Royal Hotel), Southern Sun Hotels and Langham Edward Group. He is a FEDHASA board member.

Willem van den Heever (39)

Frans joined RoyalMnandi in August 2009 as the Head of Operations for the Ithabeleng joined venture in Rustenburg. Previously he was with Protea Coin as an Operations Manager at the Close Protection Division. He also has a background as a police officer for 12 years; that brings a rich foundation of experience in operations into RoyalMnandi. He was appointed as Operations Executive for Mining and Remote Sites at RoyalMnandi in February 2011.
