RoyalMnandi is a specialist outsourced catering company operating in the food services sector within South Africa and Africa. It enjoys the 5th largest market share in the country.

In October 1990, Royal Food Services opened its doors for the first time. Since then, we have become one of the leaders throughout Southern Africa within the outsourced food services sector.

In May 2000 Royal joined forces with the black owned Sechaba Afrika, which allowed us to extend our product range and service offering to a broader market.

In 2005, RoyalSechaba was bought by the listed Mvelaphanda Group Limited, headed up by Tokyo Sexwale. Mvelaphanda Group was South Africa's pre-eminent broad-based, black-controlled and managed diversified group. The Mvelaphanda Group has continued to participate in the transformation of the South African economy by actively pursuing and implementing value-enhancing investment and other transactions.

In 2005, the company did away with the two separate names, "Royal Food Services and Sechaba Afrika", and used the combined name - RoyalSechaba.

One of the biggest milestones within our Group was on 29 November 2010, when Mvelaserve, the direct holding company for RoyalMnandi, unbundled from the Mvelaphanda Group and listed on the JSE.  We are proud to be a wholly owned subsidiary of the leading, black empowered provider of outsourced business support services across Southern Africa.

Today we embark on a new journey with the launch RoyalMnandi. We are a focussed organisation committed to delivering “Food Service Solutions” in all sectors of the economy.  At the heart of these food service solutions is a value driven imperative where we commit to delivering exceptional value to all stakeholders in a delicious and tasty form. This keeps the equity of the old brands, but formalises our unity and our commitment to be one company with one message - 'Made from the Heart’.
